These exemplary guest service standards continue on throughout your stay at the resort. The bartenders and staff at the various restaurants are very knowledgeable and personable, and the Dreams team members running the amenities, such as the myriad of activities they provide, are also friendly and approachable. If you don’t speak Spanish, it isn’t a problem, as most speak passable English. However, your stay might be enhanced if you do speak Spanish, particularly if you leave the resort and head into town.

Possibly the best and most impressive thing Dreams offers is their high quality restaurants. Oceana serves seafood in an elegant setting. El Patio features local Mexican cuisine. The Seaside Grill seats you on an outdoor terrace overlooking the Pacific and offers lighter fare, including unbelievable ceviche. The World Cafe shouldn’t be missed for breakfast, as it has unique offerings that are delicious and Mexican coffee that is rich in flavor and a tremendous way to kick start your day. The highlight, though, has to be Portofino restaurant. While you might be surprised to find a great Italian restaurant in Mexico, the first bite will quell any doubts. The food is exceptional, and you would be hard pressed to find a finer Italian restaurant anywhere in the world.

The adventurous can try their hand at snorkeling, ocean kayaking, or even cliff diving. For the more low keyed, simply enjoy a relaxing afternoon on the beach or enjoy drinks at one of the pools. Nearby activities include horseback riding, scuba diving, and eco-environment tours.
